The SMARTI is designed for forks without mounting eyelets on the mid-section of the forkblades. This Highrider requires brake-bosses for either V-brakes or MAGURA hydraulic brakes. The rack is mounted together with the brakes on the bosses. Although the height of the panniers is higher than on a lowrider, the handling of the bike is still balanced. The geometry of the SMARTI allows for adjustment of the position of the pannier along the steering shaft of the fork. |
